Wahabi Nouri, a German star chef with Moroccan roots, is owner and chef of his own restaurant "Piment" in Hamburg. Grown up in Germany, his kitchen is strongly influenced by the influences of his North African homeland. In his first cookbook he has managed to build a bridge between classic French haute cuisine and the very original oriental cuisine. Thus, in his book, there is both a recipe for saddle of lamb with stuffed artichoke and chips Maximes, next to a tagine from the Sot l'y Laisse, but also an interpretation of veal curry sausage or a tart tatin. In addition to numerous classic recipes, there are also recipes for Moroccan elements such as lemon marmalade, charmoula or couscous. A very special treat, however, are the photographs of this unique cookbook: Wahabi Nouri, together with photographer Klaus Arras, traveled to Morocco to capture the mood and atmosphere of the country, its markets and its cuisine. In combination with the breathtakingly beautiful food photographs, a picture of Nouri's work comes together and shows what influences shape him. The whole thing is supported by a layout that subtly contributes to the delicious sensuality of Wahabi Nouri's cuisine. 216 Pages 1st Edition 2013 Hardcover, 290 x 240mm ISBN: 978-3-87515-082-7
