Hard water can not only impair the function of your appliance in the long term, but can also adversely affect the taste of coffee or tea, for example. To avoid this, you should install a water softener in front of your appliance. If you use your appliance, e.g. a coffee machine in the household or infrequently, we recommend the LT8 descaler. The unit is quickly and easily connected between the water line and the appliance, rinsed through, and the water softener is ready to go. As the water flows through, the limescale is deposited on the ion exchange resin, giving you softened, soft water. To ensure the water softener functions correctly, it must be regenerated regularly. To do this, fill the appliance with 1 kg of table salt and then rinse the descaler thoroughly.
