Usuba knife

The Usuba knife is very similar to a meat cleaver, but is in no way suitable for cutting bones, but is used in traditional Japanese cuisine for fine peeling and precise cutting of vegetables and fruit. Even fully ripe tomatoes can be neatly cut into thin slices with this traditional knife. The wide, extremely sharp blade guides comfortably through the material to be cut.
