Gyuto-Messer

The Japanese Gyuto knife is similar to the European kitchen knife and is just as versatile. A practical universal knife for the daily cutting work. The Kinge, which is ground on both sides, ensures a clean cut, especially when cutting large pieces of meat. Presumably it owes its name precisely to this property, because translated "Gyoto" means beef knife.
