Wine tasting glass, tasting glasses & spittoon

At every stage of wine production - from fermentation to marketing - there are tastings to assess the quality of a wine. A serious wine tasting can only work with adequate glasses. A bulbous goblet that tapers towards the top is ideal because the fragrances can develop well on the relatively large liquid surface, but are retained by the smaller opening in the glass. A smaller opening also has the advantage that the typical swiveling of the glass does not easily spill over.
